A Missouri man was injured in a one car crash in Paducah, early Monday morning. 

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says 85-year-old William Goldsberry of Stockton, Mo, was driving on Commerce Drive and aparently failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Olivet Church Road.

Deputies say Goldsberry's car went down a 20 foot embankment before coming to a stop.  

Goldsberry was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.  His dog was taken to the McCracken County Animal Control until family members can take custody of the dog.
