By WestKyStar Staff
REIDLAND, KY - Two people were injured Sunday afternoon when their motorcycle crashed in Reidland.

At around 4:45 pm Sunday, Deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Husband Road and John Puryear Drive for a single motorcycle crash.

Upon arrival, deputies found that 37-year-old Christopher L. Gee and 42-year-old Kamille Acker, both of Hopkinsville, had fallen off their bike while attempting to make a right hand turn into Hodges Convenience Store off of Husband Road.

According to police, mechanical problems caused Gee to lose control of the bike, causing both Gee and Acker to fall off and receive non-life threatening injuries.

Both Gee and Acker were taken to Lourdes ER for treatment of their injuries.

Deputies were assisted on scene by Reidland-Farley Fire Dept and Mercy EMS.
