A Gilbertsville man was hurt Monday morning in a crash on Old Mayfield Road.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says deputies were dispatched at 8:15 a.m. to a two-vehicle injury crash at the intersection of Old Mayfield Road and Krebbs Station Road.

Deputies said 39-year-old Dwaine Wallace of Gilbertsville was riding a motorcycle on Krebbs Station Road when he failed to stop for the stop sign and rode into the path of a vehicle driven by 39-year-old Daniel Ramage.

Ramage struck the rear of the motorcycle causing the bike to spin off the roadway into the ditch.  Both vehicles had to be towed because of damage.

Deputies said Wallace, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Old Mayfield was closed for about 30 minutes after the crash.
