Motorcycle Wreck Sends One to Hospital

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY - A Tennessee man was injured Thursday when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed in McCracken County.

On Thursday, deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department responded to the curve at the Shemwell Lane and Mayes Lane intersection for a single vehicle injury accident involving a motorcycle.
 
Upon arrival it was determined that 20 year-old William Noel, of Church Hill TN was riding his motorcycle on Shemwell Lane.  As Noel approached the curve near Mayes Lane, he failed to negotiate the curve.  As a result, Noel’s motorcycle flipped over, causing him to be thrown off and into the a nearby wooded area.

Noel was transported to a local hospital for apparent non-life threatening injuries. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

Deputies were assisted at the scene by Mercy Regional Ambulance Service and  the Hendron Fire Department.
