LONE OAK, KY - Linden Plantation in Lone Oak will be the new home of the MainStage School of Performing Arts, providing classes for children and teens interested in learning the skills it takes to put on a musical theater production, according to the Paducah Sun.
 
Unlike weekend or summer acting programs, MainStage will offer year-round classes, with four performance opportunities for students.
 
The atmosphere at the school will differ from that at dance studios, as well.
 
Parents said the new school will open doors for students who may not want to pursue a career in performing arts, while still offering the level of training required for those who do.
 
Fall registration begins Friday at 5 pm, and will continue on Fridays throughout August. Workshops are also available in the upcoming month. Follow the link below for registration and other information.
