PADUCAH, KY - McCracken County Public Schools and Dr. Laxmaiah Manchikanti of the Pain Management Center of Paducah have partnered to name the library media center at McCracken County High School.
The McCracken County Board of Education entered into a five-year agreement valued at $25,000 for naming rights to the library media center, which will be known as Manchikanti Library.
"I am honored to have the opportunity to support the educational endeavors of McCracken County Public Schools," said Dr. Manchikanti. "I believe it is an obligation to assist education across the globe. It is part of my overall strategy to help improve education, which goes hand in hand with my development of schools in India and supporting 1,300 students along with providing scholarship support to many students over the years."
Dr. Manchikanti serves as Medical Director of the Pain Management Center of Paducah and chairman of the Manchikanti Gopamma Memorial trust, established to provide scholarships and support educational activities in the U.S. and in India.
