One Person Shot at Noble Park

Paducah Police are searching for suspects after a shooting in Noble Park Thursday night that left one person injured. According to Chief Brandon Barnhill, the shooting took place shortly after 8pm on an access road behind the amphitheater. Barnhill said one person was shot and "two or three" shooters or people believed to be involved in the shooting were seen fleeing the scene.

Barnhill said there were a lot of people in Noble Park Thursday night for the city's Summer Movie Series. He said there was also a kickball tournament going on at nearby Stuart Nelson Park. Police closed both parks, along with the Greenway Trail, while they searched for the suspects.

Police have not released the names of the suspects or the shooting victim. Barnhill said the shooting victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
