PADUCAH, KY - This evening from 5 - 8 at the A.I.R. Studio, 621 Madison Street in Lower Town, there will be an Open Studio for Paducah Artist-in-Residence Andrea Meyers. She will be working on textile based wall and sculptural forms, exploring abstractions of nature and malleable forms. Her work investigates the space between two and three dimensionality, incorporating fabric in much of her work. Stop by and see her use of material, color and dimension. Andrea will be available to speak about her work and time in Paducah.

The Paducah Artist-in-Residence Program is a collaborative effort between the Paducah Arts Alliance and the Yeiser Art Center. The residency is made possible through funding from a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Paducah Renaissance Alliance. The Kentucky Arts Council,the state arts agency, provides operating support to the Yeiser Art Center with state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
