Dr. Bradley Almquist directs the group of about 40 students, ages 8 to 13, from Paducah and the surrounding area.
As part of the hospital’s season sponsorship agreement, the symphony provides regular instrumental and choral performances at Baptist Health for the hospital’s "Arts in Healing” series.
“We believe exposure to the arts enhances the healing atmosphere for our patients, their families and caregivers,” said hospital president William A. Brown. “Hearing or seeing something beautiful soothes and lifts the spirits, an important part of our overall mission to improve the health of those we are privileged to serve.”
