Paducah Bank Hosting 'Every Friday Cookouts'
By WestKyStar Staff
PADUCAH, KY - Paducah Bank is cooking up some fun on Fridays through the summer.

“We’re going to have some hot fun in the summertime,” says Susan Guess, Senior Vice President of Paducah Bank, with regard to the bank’s “Every Friday Cookouts” in July and early August.

“We know that most people think all banks are the same,” says Paducah Bank President Wally Bateman. “But Paducah Bank has long set out to prove that perception wrong. And a customer appreciation event is one of the ways we hope to drive that point home. In addition to that, it will be fun.”

Each Friday from July 6 to August 10, the bank will be offering lunch from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at a different location. “We’re partnering with Neil’s Catering and Parker’s Drive-In to help us out with grilled hotdogs and hamburgers,” Guess added. “And we’ll be giving away our Paducah Bank WOW! water and ice cream from our WOW! Wagon. It’s all about having some fun and showing our customers, and perhaps prospective customers, that we honestly value our relationships with the people we serve as well as the people in our community.”

The schedule is as follows:

July 6 – Strawberry Hill branch

July 13 – Southside branch

July 20 – Mid-City branch

July 27 – Reidland branch

August 3 – Main branch

August 10 – Lone Oak branch

Paducah Bank is Paducah’s only remaining locally-owned bank. Paducah Bank has six banking centers and employs 150 people.

Paducah Bank is currently the top small business lender and the top mortgage lender in Paducah/McCracken County. In 2010, the bank was named among the nation’s top 20 independent banks for performance in its asset size. The ranking is conducted by the Independent Community Bank Association.
