A domestic disturbance has resulted in the arrest of a Paducah man.

On Monday, deputies were called to an apartment on Strathmoore Boulevard to deal with a domestic disturbance involving 26-year-old Michael C. Allen of Paducah. When deputies arrived, they learned that Allen had already left the scene. Witnesses told the officers that Allen had been in a verbal altercation with his girlfriend and had been dealing illegal drugs from the apartment.

Detectives served a search warrant for the apartment Monday night and reportedly seized over eight ounces of marijuana, digital scales, money, and a large TV that they believed to be purchased with proceeds of illegal drug sales. Marijuana packing materials and a vacuum sealer were also seized from the apartment.

Detectives spotted Allen on Wednesday operating a vehicle on South 4th Street in Paducah. He was arrested without incident, taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail, and charged with trafficking marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
