A Paducah man has been appointed to the Kentucky Board of Nursing.

According to a press release, Governor Matt Bevin appointed Carl H. Vinson to the board for a term that expires June 30, 2019. 

Vinson is an Licensed Practical Nurse who works in a local hospital's emergency room. He will represent the Kentucky LPN Organization on the board.

In other appointments Thursday:

Steven Louis Frank of Covington has been appointed to the Northern Kentucky Convention Center Corporation Board of Directors. A financial planner, his term will expire July 14, 2022.

Brian Matthew Fisher of Bowling Green has been appointed to the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Resources Commission. The general manager of Hughes and Coleman law office, his term will expire Aug. 13, 2022.

Delana Sanders of Ft. Mitchell has been appointed as a member of the Kentucky Claims Commission. An attorney, Sanders will represent crime victims on the board and serve a term expiring Sept. 30, 2021.
