PADUCAH, KY - A Paducah man has been taken into custody on trafficking charges following an investigation by the McCracken County Sheriff's Department.
 
Officers say 46-year-old Mark English was arrested Sunday at the Hickory House Inn on Bridge Street in Paducah, where he was reportedly staying.

Detectives say the investigation included officers making methamphetamine purchases from English. A search of his room at the hotel revealed 
methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, money, and a police scanner. 

He was booked into the McCracken County Jail on possession and trafficking charges.
