A Paducah man was arrested Wednesday on drug and other charges.
According to Paducah police, a grand jury indicted 29-year-old Antonyo Smith of Paducah on crack cocaine charges. Paducah police detectives said they spotted Smith about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, standing next to a car on Park Avenue and arrested him. They said a K9 unit found crack cocaine under a car near where Smith had been standing.
Smith is charged with two counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (crack cocaine), second offense; possession of a controlled substance (crack cocaine); tampering with physical evidence; violation of parole; and failure to pay child support. He was booked into McCracken County Regional Jail.
