Paducah Man Faces Drug, Weapons Charges

PADUCAH - A Paducah man was arrested early Wednesday morning on drug and weapons charges.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says deputies saw a vehicle shortly after 1 a.m. in the parking lot of a closed business in the 3200 block of Benton Road. Due to recent thefts in the area, Deputies approached the driver, 38-year-old Bobby Jones.

Deputies said they found marijuana, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia during a search of the car. They also found brass knuckles concealed inside a bag.

Jones was arrested and booked into McCracken County Regional Jail. He's charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia failure to notify address change to department of transportation, carrying a concealed deadly weapon and tampering with physical evidence.
