A Paducah man was hurt Wednesday morning in a crash after striking a parked vehicle on the Clarks River Bridge.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says Deputies responded at around 8 a.m. to a crash on the Clarks River Bridge on Clarks River Road. Deputies said 18-year-old Tyler Riley of Paducah was driving east, crossing the bridge when his vehicle rear-ended a parked, unoccupied Kentucky Transportation Cabinet pickup truck. The truck was part of a crew cleaning up debris in the area. There were reportedly warning signs in the area and a flashing arrow on the truck that was struck.

Riley was taken to Baptist ER for treatment of his injuries. The Eastbound lane of Clarks River Road was reduced to one lane over the bridge for about an hour after the crash.
