PADUCAH - Two Paducah men were arrested Thursday morning in separate incidents on outstanding warrants.

Shortly after 10:00, Paducah Police encountered 36-year-old Scott C. Green in an alley. Green ran to his home in the 1000 block of South 5th Street, where he was found hiding under clothing and blankets. He was arrested on a warrant charging him with contempt of court, and also on a charge of fleeing or evading police.

A short time later, officers went to the home of 50-year-old William Ray Conner, in the 700 block of Bethel Street, to arrest him on an outstanding warrant. Conner was in the back yard of the home and when he saw the officers, he ran inside and hid. Officers arrested him without incident on a warrant charging him with probation violation.
