A former Paducah man with international wrestling accolades is adding another: WWE Superstar.

Twenty-nine-year-old Trevor Mann, who wrestles under the name Ricochet, officially reported Tuesday to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL.

Mann grew up in the Reidland area, and first honed his skills with Chaos Pro Wrestling, a small promotion based out of Brookport. Since then, he has developed a worldwide following thanks to an astonishing assortment of aerial moves.

Mann is expected to be seen on WWE broadcasts in the next few weeks.

The decorated high-flyer has captured many titles over his 14-year career, including championships on three separate continents. Mann became only the second American to win New Japan Pro Wrestling's Best of the Super Juniors tournament. He also wrestled under a mask as "Prince Puma" on "Lucha Underground" on the El Ray cable network.

Prior to signing with WWE, Mann was called "pro wrestling's biggest free agent". He says he knew he wanted to become a pro wrestler as a child when he saw Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin headline Wrestlemania XV. Mann cites Johnson, Eddie Guerrero, and Rey Mysterio as his main in-ring influences.

Mann currently resides in Orlando.
