The Paducah Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a man suspected of breaking windows and taking items from vehicles.

Police say a woman contacted them on Sunday to report that someone broke a window out of her car and stole her purse while she was parked at Cracker Barrel.

The woman also said her credit card had been used at a nearby convenience store and one other store. Officers visited the convenience store and were able to obtain surveillance footage of the man suspected of using the stolen card.

Officers investigated two additional incidents on Sunday afternoon, one at Cinemark Theaters, and another at Texas Roadhouse, both due to broken vehicle windows.

Police remind citizens to remove valuables from their vehicles or hide them from view.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Paducah Police Department at 270-444-8550. You can also provide information anonymously through the West Kentucky Crime Stoppers by texting WKY and your tip to 847411. Information leading to an arrest or indictment may result in a reward of up to $1,000.
