Paducah Police Warn of Attack Hoax On Social Media

The Paducah Police Department has issued a response after online rumors of an attack in the area.

Officers responded to a social media post circulating through the area, claiming there will be an "attack" at an area Walmart this weekend.

After performing an investigation, officers say the post has popped up in multiple states and appears to be a hoax. 

With that being said, the police department reminds the public to always be aware of their surroundings, and report suspicious or concerning behavior.
