Paducah Store Sells $250,000 Lottery Ticket

PADUCAH, KY - A Paducah convenience store issued a $250,000 ticket for Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing, according to the Paducah Sun. The ticket holder has not yet come forward.
While no one hit the $45 million jackpot, a ticket was purchased from Cheers at 5425 Cairo Road matching five numbers. The Mega Ball was not matched. The retailer will receive $2,500 for selling the winning ticket.
The ticket holder has 180 days from the drawing date to claim his prize. The next Mega Millions jackpot is an estimated $52 million with a cash option amount of $40.5 million.
