A Paducah teen was hurt Thursday afternoon in a crash at a McCracken County intersection.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says deputies responded at 2:30 pm to a crash near the intersection of Lovelaceville Road and Fairview Drive. Deputies said 18-year-old Kayla Edwards of Paducah was stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Fairview Drive and Lovelaceville Road, and pulled onto Lovelaceville Road into the path of a northbound vehicle driven by 24-year-old Barry Ray of Paducah. Ray hit Edwards' vehicle on the driver’s side and spun it around.

Edwards was taken to Lourdes Hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.

Lovelaceville Road was closed for approximately 20 minutes.
