PADUCAH, KY -
Earlier this month, the McCracken County Sheriff's department received information that a Paducah woman had allegedly been stealing checks from Farley Place, where she worked, and cashing them.
Officers say 49-year-old Bonnie Loe worked as a sitter at Farley Place three days a week. Loe allegedly took 18 checks between March and June of this year, writing them to herself, forging the victim's name, and cashing them. Detectives were assisted in their investigation by the Cabinet of Health and Family Services. The total value of the checks is approximately $4,700.
Loe was taken into custody July 20, and lodged in the McCracken County Jail.
