A Crime Stoppers tip has led to the arrest of a Paducah woman in connection with the use of a stolen credit card at various locations around Kentucky Oaks Mall.

Officers say a Vienna, IL, man told them he lost his wallet on August 11, and several of his credit cards since have been used to purchase various items, including a cell phone and children’s clothing.

Less than 24 hours after a photograph of two suspects was released, a tip was received via text message to Crime Stoppers and both the man and the woman in the photograph were identified.

The woman, 22-year-old Royale M. Johnson, was charged in a warrant with fraudulent use of a credit card. She was arrested at 2:49 pm Thursday at her home and booked into McCracken County Regional Jail.
