Paducah Woman Arrested on Forgery Charges

PADUCAH, KY - The McCracken County Sheriff's Department arrested a Paducah woman on Tuesday for forgery and fraudulent use of a credit card.
According to police, an investigation was opened on 29-year-old Jennifer Harp Lamb of Paducah after Lamb's neighbor reported that their residence was burglarized and several items were stolen, including the victim's wallet.
The victim had contacted their bank to stop all transactions, but several had already been made. These transactions included purchases of gasoline, cigarettes, drinks and an attempt to buy electronic equipment from Wal-Mart.
Deputies obtained surveillance footage that determined Lamb was the culprit. Deputies also verified that Lamb signed the victim's name on the receipts.
Lamb was taken into custody without incident and the investigation is ongoing.
