Paducah Woman Faces Drug Charges

A Paducah woman faces drug charges after allegedly stealing medication Thursday evening.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, at around 8:45 P.M. deputies responded to a residence on Wallace Road for a reported theft of medications.

When deputies arrived, their investigation determined that 27-year-old Michelle C. Clay of Paducah, had stolen several doses of Alprazolam (Xanax) from the residence.

Deputies found Clay at the residence, and deputies discovered that she had ingested some of the stolen doses prior to their arrival.

Clay was arrested and booked into McCracken County Regional Jail.
