According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, At around 2:30 pm 46-year-old Dianna Herring, of Paducah was traveling east on Lovelaceville Florence Station Road. The investigation showed that for unknown reasons Herring crossed over into oncoming traffic and left the roadway. When Herring’s vehicle left the roadway her vehicle struck a mailbox and came to rest down an embankment.
Herring was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
