Planting New Dogwoods-a 50th Trail Priority
By Ro Morse
PADUCAH, KY - Wayne Armbruster and Henry Barbour, Civic Beautification Board members worked with employees of James Sanders Nursery in the drizzling rain Monday to plant six new dogwood trees in Dolly McNutt Plaza. This year's 50th Dogwood Trail is all about planting new trees for future generations to enjoy in Paducah

Donations have been made in the past year to the Civic Beautification Board to plant dogwood trees in memory of Jean Hannon. Those trees were planted on Monday throughout Dolly McNutt Fountain Plaza between City Hall and the McCracken County Court House. Planting in memory of, or in honor of, a loved one is an excellent way to replenish trees in our community.
