Police Investigating Reidland Burglary

Police are seeking information about a Reidland burglary that happened sometime in June.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, on June 29 Charles Strait Jr., of Old Calvert City Road reported his home had been burglarized and more than 20 guns had been taken from a safe. Police said there did not appear to be forced entry into the home.    

Strait told police the firearms were taken while he was out of town between June 4 and June 29.  

Police are asking anyone with information about this crime to contact the McCracken County Sheriff's Department at 270-444-4719, or contact Crimestoppers at 270-443-TELL. Anyone with information leading to an arrest and/or conviction may be eligible for a reward up to $1000.
