Police Looking for Men Who Robbed Walgreens
By WestKyStar Staff
PADUCAH, KY - Paducah police are investigating an armed robbery early Tuesday morning at a local pharmacy.

Officers were called just before 4:30 am to a reported robbery at Walgreens, 521 Lone Oak Road, in Hannan Plaza.

A clerk told officers that two men, dressed in black, had come into the store, displayed handguns and ordered her to open the cash register at the front of the store. The men took an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes. They last were seen running across the parking lot toward Alben Barkley Drive.

Police are unsure about the robbers’ race, because they were wearing full face masks and their hands were covered by gloves. There were no customers in the store at the time of the robbery, and the four employees present were not injured.

Investigators are seeking anyone who was in the area just before or just after the robbery, who might have seen something suspicious.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Paducah Police Department at 270/444-8550 or Crime Stoppers at 443-TELL.
