Paducah police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a young man who used stolen credit card information to make purchases at two Paducah stores.

A Smithland, KY, man told police he found two fraudulent charges on his credit card bill. The charges, totaling $527.19, were made at stores on Paducah’s west end and south side. The man said his credit card was not stolen, and he doesn’t know how the suspect got his credit card number.

Police obtained a photograph from surveillance video of the man who made the fraudulent purchase at the west end Paducah store. He is white and has dark hair, and may be driving a white Nissan Titan truck.

Anyone with information about the young man’s identity is asked to call the Paducah Police Department at 270-444-8550 or Crime Stoppers at 443-TELL. Tipsters also may access the online tip form through the City of Paducah website at http://paducahky.gov/paducah/west-ky-crime-stoppers. Information leading to an arrest or indictment may result in a reward of up to $1,000.
