Authorities are searching for a suspect in a pedestrian hit-and-run Sunday evening in McCracken County.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department says deputies responded at around 7 p.m. to a report of a hit-and-run in the 2600 block of Oaks Road.

Deputies said their investigation showed that 13-year-old Jade Mabry was checking her mailbox when a vehicle struck her. The vehicle did not stop and continued on Oaks Road towards Graves County.

Mabry was taken to Lourdes Hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.

Deputies said the vehicle that hit Mabry was a black late model Chrysler 300 or Chrysler Sebring that is missing a passenger side mirror. Anyone with information about the vehicle is asked to contact the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office at 270-444-4719 or their local law enforcement agency.
