Predatory Bird Seminar at WKCTC Wednesday

PADUCAH, KY - Learn about and observe various types of Kentucky’s predatory birds during a science seminar at West Kentucky Community and Technical College this Wednesday.

Aviva Yasgur, a wildlife interpretive naturalist and education coordinator at Land Between the Lakes’ Woodlands Nature Station, will present “Kentucky’s Birds of Prey” on February 19 from 11 am to noon in Waller Hall, Room 112. Several native species of owls and a red-tailed hawk are expected to be present at the one-hour live birds of prey program, which is free and open to the public.

The seminar is open to WKCTC students, faculty and staff and community members.
