Quilt Museum Offers Active Military Free Admission

The National Quilt Museum announced they will participate in "Blue Star Museums" this summer to allow military personnel and their families free admission.

"Blue Star Museums" is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums across America. First launched in the summer of 2010, Blue Star Museums offers free admission to all active duty military personnel and up to five of their family members from Memorial Day, May 27, through Labor Day, September 2.

"The National Quilt Museum honors today's military personnel for their service and sacrifice," said Frank Bennett, CEO, The National Quilt Museum.

The National Quilt Museum is a non-profit institution located at 215 Jefferson Street in downtown Paducah, KY. The Museum is open year-round Monday-Saturday, 10 am - 5 pm. The Museum is also open on Sundays 1-5 pm April - November. The National Quilt Museum is ADA compliant.
