PADUCAH, KY - Paducah Parks Services is ready for the school year with two programs: Tot School and the Neighborhood After School Program.  

Tot School is a preschool program for 3-5 year olds that helps teach children the fundamental skills needed for kindergarten. Class includes circle time, free play, music, art, story time, snacks, and more. An open house to meet the teacher, Kathy Reese, and tour the classroom will be Friday, August 10, 9 - 11 am at the Parks Services Building located at 1400 H.C. Mathis Drive.

Tot School starts August 13 and runs through May 15. It meets each Monday and Wednesday, 9 am – 2 pm.  Each student must pre-register at a cost of $80 per month. All children must be completely potty-trained. The class is limited to 12 students.

The Neighborhood After School Program is each Monday through Friday, 3:15 – 6 pm at the Paducah Recreation Center located at 1527 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. The program, for children currently enrolled in kindergarten through 5th grades, starts Monday, August 13 and includes homework and study time, sports, games, arts and crafts, snacks, and more. There is no cost for the program.
