Rolling Roadblocks on I-24 Today for KU Work
By WestKyStar Staff
PADUCAH, KY - Traffic on I-24 in McCracken County will come to a halt on several times this morning, but it won't be caused by the current paving work.

A crew from Kentucky Utilities will be replacing shield wires on a high-voltage transmission line that crosses the Interstate, so police will slow vehicles in both directions to allow brief opportunities for wires to be pulled overhead, near the 9-mile marker.

There are likely to be several rolling road blocks between 8:00 am and noon, and each one will last between 10-15 minutes.
