A man arrested Wednesday in McCracken County on burglary and theft offenses is facing more charges, and another man has also been arrested in connection with a string of recent burglaries in western Kentucky and northwest Tennessee.

Eighteen-year-old Christopher Peevyhouse was arrested Wednesday and charged with burglarizing a home on Bryant Ford Road in McCracken County. The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says detectives located a vehicle that Peevyhouse had been driving for the last several weeks and found more stolen property inside, including four SD cards from trail cameras. Footage from the SD cards reportedly showed Peevyhouse and 18-year-old Anthony Romans committing other burglaries in Weakly County, TN.

Detectives said the two men also burglarized a home on Shallow Creek Drive in McCracken County in which a shotgun, several bows, and a crossbow had been taken.  

Deputies found Romans on Friday at a local business and arrested him. They reportedly found more stolen property in his vehicle, including the bows and crossbow stolen from the home on Shallow Creek Drive.  The game cameras from Tennessee, chainsaws, and other stolen property were also found.

Peevyhouse was additionally charged with two counts of first degree burglary, two additional counts of theft of a firearm, two counts of theft by unlawful taking more than $500 but less than $10,000, and one count of receiving stolen property under $500. Romans is charged with two counts of first degree burglary, six Counts of theft of a firearm, two counts of theft by unlawful taking more than $500 but less than $10,000, and one Count of receiving stolen property under $10,000.

Deputies said more charges are expected out of Weakley County, TN.
