Semi Rollover Blocks US 62 Wednesday Night

A semi tractor-trailer rolled over into a ditch and blocked US Highway 62 in western McCracken County for several hours on Wednesday night.

The accident occurred between Fisher Road and Childress Road. At least one lane of the road was blocked until crews cleared the scene at about 10:20 pm.

The truck was hauling frozen chicken parts, which had to be offloaded for the truck to be uprighted and removed from the ditch.
