Police are looking for a suspect in a shooting Tuesday morning.

The Paducah Police Department has started an investigation after responding to North 10th Street about 4:15 am. Someone called dispatch saying a man was knocking on doors and telling them he had been shot. Officers found 40-year-old Perry Morris on the front porch of a home and he had a gunshot wound in his arm, so he was taken to Baptist Health Paducah for treatment.

A detective's investigation led him to name 44-year-old Myree Marshall as the suspect in the shooting. A warrant has been issued for Marshall on a charge of 2nd degree assault.

Marshall is described as a 6'2" tall black man, weighing 205 pounds. Anyone who encounters him should use extreme caution since Marshall is considered armed and dangerous. If anyone has information about Marshall's whereabouts, they should call Paducah Police at 270-444-8550 or call CrimeStoppers at 270-443-TELL.
