A Paducah man was arrested Friday afternoon on shoplifting and drug charges.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to a report of a man shoplifting at Dollar General Store on Krebs Station Road.

By the time deputies arrived, the suspect had left the area. Using a description of the suspect's car, deputies found and arrested 27-year-old Dylan Rogers at a convenience store on Lone Oak Road.

Deputies said they also found a glass pipe and methamphetamine on him during a search.

Rogers was booked into McCracken County Jail on charges of theft by unlawful taking under $500, possession of drug paraphernalia, and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
