Shot Allegedly Fired at Two Paducah Teens

PADUCAH, KY - A man allegedly fired a shot at two Paducah teens on Monday evening.

At about 8 pm, two 16-year-olds told Paducah Police that a man fired a shot at them as they walked on South 22nd Street, in the area of Elmwood Court. They said he approached them on a bicycle and showed a handgun. The boys said they ran to a friend's home and waited several minutes before walking again. A short time later, they said they encountered the man, and that he fired one round toward them. The youths ran and were not sure which way the suspect fled.

The man was described as a black male, wearing a black jacket, and riding a bicycle.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Paducah Police Department at 270-444-8550 or Crime Stoppers at 443-TELL. Tipsters also may access the online tip form through the City of Paducah website at http://paducahky.gov/west-ky-crime-stoppers. Information leading to an arrest or indictment may result in a reward of up to $1,000.
