Signal Flashing at Lone Oak Road, Highland Blvd.
By West Kentucky Star Staff
PADUCAH - A traffic signal on heavily-traveled Lone Oak Road is not functioning properly, and is in flashing mode until further notice. This means drivers should treat the intersection as a three-way stop.

High winds associated with Thursday's storms may have damaged some of the wiring at the intersection of Lone Oak Road and Highland Boulevard. Technicians attempted to work on it, but couldn't due to heavy rain and winds.

Crews will return under drier conditions to troubleshoot the wiring system, but until then, the flashing signal indicates that the intersection is a three-way stop.
