South Paducah Kiwanis Distributes Donations
By Mark Edwards
PADUCAH, KY - Nearly two dozen representatives from area children's charities and service organizations enjoyed the 65th Annual Christmas dinner Thursday night presented by the South Paducah Kiwanis Club. This yearly gathering is used to distribute thousands of dollars to local organizations for the work they do in the community.

Members of the South Paducah Kiwanis Club raise money throughout the year during events such as BBQ on the River, the McCracken County Fair and selling funnel cakes at area events.

During the dinner, club president Steve Atherton announced that the club will also be distributing over 500 pair of new shoes to needy children in the Paducah area.

With the generous support from the community Kiwanis club members continue their mission in Making a Difference one Child at a Time.
