Steam Plant's Future Discussed in Thursday Meeting

The TVA Shawnee Steam plant in West Paducah will not be affected by a potential shutdown of the nearby uranium enrichment plant.

That's the official word from plant manager Mike Kaler and others from TVA headquarters in Chattanooga.

TVA on Thursday provided an opportunity for media to ask questions related to the plant's operation in an effort to end speculation about the facility's future.
