Stolen Church Trailer Recovered

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says a trailer reported stolen from a local church over the weekend was located late Monday morning in the community of Monkey's Eyebrow. They report that evidence collected at the scene will be helpful in identifying those responsible for the theft.

The trailer belongs to Newton Creek Baptist Church, located on Ogden Landing Road in McCracken County, and was stolen from a carport sometime on Friday or Saturday.

The trailer contained electronic equipment and about 50 hand puppets.
