Stolen Truck Recovered, Paducah Man Arrested

MCCRACKEN COUNTY - A traffic stop late Friday night in McCracken County resulted in the recovery of a stolen pickup truck and the arrest of a Paducah man.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says that deputies made the stop at 10:57 pm on Benton Road and learned that the pickup was stolen out of McKenzie, Tennessee. 

They also learned that the driver, 19-year-old Bruce Athey, allegedly was in possession of suspected marijuana.

Athey was arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail, charged with driving on a suspended or revoked operator license, careless driving, possession of marijuana, and receiving stolen property $10,000 or more.
