MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY - Limited visibility due to sun glare resulted in a two-vehicle injury accident Tuesday.
According to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened in the 3700 block of County Line Road. Deputies said a vehicle driven by 41-year-old Adam T. Bridges, of Melber, was westbound on County Line Road and slowed to make a left turn into a home at that location.
Bridges told police that glare from the sun obstructed his view and he turned into the path of another vehicle driven by 18-year-old James Chancellor of Bardwell. Chancellor and a passenger, 18-year-old Erica Beasley, also of Bardwell, were transported by Mercy Regional to Baptist Health for treatment of their injuries.
County Line Road was closed to traffic for approximately 45 minutes for clean up and investigation.
