Paducah police are seeking assistance from the public in locating a man who allegedly damaged a police cruiser last month.

Officer Matt Reed had parked his cruiser outside of the Hinkleville Road Walmart in the early morning hours of March 15. That's when police believe 23-year-old Jason Holmberg walked out of the store and jumped onto the hood of the cruiser, allegedly kicking the grill, pushing a shopping cart into the car, then fleeing with several other people. Damage was estimated at over $500.

Holmberg was served a summons charging him with criminal mischief, but he reportedly failed to appear in court.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Paducah Police Department at 270-444-8550 or CrimeStoppers at 443-TELL.
