A suspicious vehicle led to two drug arrests early Wednesday morning.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, deputies saw a car in the parking lot of the Polaris dealership on Husband Road about 2:45 am. Two men were seen around the vehicle.

Deputies were able to identify the men as 35-year-old Jarrod Ainsworth, of Cedar Hill, TN and 29-year-old Theren Clark, also from Tennessee. Both men told police they were traveling to Las Vegas, but had inconsistent stories as to why they were parked at the dealership. Deputies said Ainsworth also appeared to be under the influence of drugs.

Deputies searched the men's vehicle and found marijuana, a baggie containing cocaine and some items of drug paraphernalia. Both men were arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Both were charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cocaine. Ainsworth was also charged with public intoxication.
