A Paducah teen was hurt Tuesday morning in a crash in West Paducah.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded at around 7:30 a.m. to a crash at the intersection of US 60 West and Maxon Road in West Paducah. The investigation reportedly showed 60-year-old Steven Buchanan of Paducah was driving north on Maxon Road and stopped for the stop sign at the intersection of US 60 West. He then proceeded to cross US 60, pulling into the path of a westbound vehicle driven by 16-year old Kennedy Shelbourne of Paducah. Buchanan told deputies he didn't see Shelbourne's vehicle as he pulled into her path.

Shelbourne was taken to an area hospital by a family member for treatment of non life-threatening injuries. Traffic was blocked for about 45 minutes after the crash.
